Discovery頻道是年青一代的口碑之選，憑著充足的資料搜集而成為高質素節目的代名詞。從七月至九月初，Discovery頻道就為觀眾帶來十集全新科學系列節目。節目名為《科學向前沖》，將剖繪人類的極限經驗、奇異科學和怪誕的自然現象，無論主題是關于世界上最具彈力的人、自相殘殺的蟋蟀、或是世上第一具生化機械人，節目內容絕對讓你大出意外。非同凡響的人類、叫人大開眼界的動物、和令人驚嘆的科技，每集三十分鐘的節目分別由七至十個段落所組成，并以單一主題串連，為觀眾特寫科學界中最令人難以置信的成就事跡。雖然每個段落時間不長，但觀眾將可透過每集節目的主題，了解最先進的思潮和科學上的最新突破。

From July to early September, the Discovery Channel presents an all-new ten-part series that is not your typical science series. ONE STEP BEYOND is fast-paced, informative entertainment profiling extremes of human experience, weird science and bizarre nature. Whether it's the story of the most flexible man in the world, a cannibalistic cricket or the world's first cyborg, you never know what to expect when watching ONE STEP BEYOND. The people are engaging, the animals are intriguing and the technology is mind-blowing. Each half-hour episode is composed of 7 to 10 short segments - linked by a single theme - that profile some of the most awe-inspiring true stories that science has to tell. Although segments are short in length, viewers learn the very latest thinking and scientific breakthroughs relating to each episodic theme.
