搖滾革命成功 |
| 美國樂壇近日舉辦了「二零零五年度MTV音樂錄像大獎」頒獎典禮。這個頒獎典禮的得獎結果，可以作為我們了解美國樂迷這一年來喜歡的音樂取向及其走勢的指針。 "2005 MTV Video Music Awards" has recently taken place in America. It tells what types of music the Americans are fond of and how the music trend moves.  今年的MTV音樂錄像大獎可說是搖滾音樂的天下，把近年來主導樂壇的嘻哈、流行音樂變成「弱勢社群」。去年的大贏家如Outkast、Usher、Beyonce和Jay-Z等嘻哈、藍調歌手今年都空手而回。只有一位饒舌歌手Kanye West憑《Jesus Walks》一曲在主要項目類奪得「最佳男歌手音樂錄像」獎的殊榮。今年更是龐克搖滾樂隊Green Day的天下。自從十一年前，他們的大熱專輯《Dookie》深獲好評后，Green Day一直都變得十分沉寂。他們憑著今年推出的《American Idiot》專輯，又再度受到樂迷的注意。氣氛憂郁的《Boulevard of Broken Dreams》和具有社會意識的《American Idiot》，為Green Day帶來七項大獎，包括「年度最佳音樂錄像」、「最佳組合音樂錄像」、「最佳搖滾音樂錄像」、「電視觀眾大賞」，以及三項技朮獎項「最佳導演」、「最佳剪接錄像」和「最佳電影拍攝錄像」。Green Day主音Billie Joe Armstrong在接受「最佳搖滾音樂錄像」時感慨地說垃「我為搖滾樂在這個頒獎典禮還占一席位感到高興。」而新晉搖滾樂隊The Killers和Fall Out Boy也憑《Mr.Brightside》及《Sugar，We're Going Down》樂曲分別獲得「最佳新晉歌手錄像」和「MTV2」獎。本年度的的搖滾熱潮可謂勢不可擋。 Green Day Rock music has revived and kicked off the dominant hip-hop and pop music this year. And we never see the big winners in the past years like Outkast, Usher, Beyonce and Jay-Z. Kanye West is the only rapper to win an "all-genre" award, with his "Jesus Walks" taking "Best Male Video". On the other hand, the puck rockers Green Day has swept the "2005 MTV Video Music Awards". More than 11 years after their hit album "Dookie" reinvigorated punk rock, Green Day has won seven video awards, including "Video of the Year", "Best Group Video", "Best Rock Video", "Viewer's Choice" and the technical categories including "Best Director", "Best Editing" and "Best Cinematography in a Video" for the melancholy "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and the socially conscious "American Idiot". "It's nice to know that rock music still has a place on MTV." Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong said while accepting the "rock video award". Moreover, the new rock band The Killers and Fall Out Boy won the "Best New Artist" and "MTV2" award respectively. Rock music has rocked thoroughly this year. |
